The Bar-B-Q Man Restaurant began serving Texas-Style Bar-B-Q in 1977 under the guidance of Malcolm DeShields Sr. Through the years our 2.4 acre facility has grown to include a full service restaurant, bar, a party area in the Cantina Room and a beautiful patio with lots of shade trees and picnic tables. |
All food is prepared on-premise and is supervised by the DeShields family in the same manner it was when food service first began in 1977.

The catering offered by the Bar-B-Q Man is capable of delivering a full meal for from 4 to almost 4,000 people, almost anywhere in South Texas
Our on-premise catering can usually be accommodated with as little as 12 hours notice (subject to availability of facilities and staff). See CATERING for more information.
